General/Design Questions:

1. What are the container sizes available? See Chart for exact dimensions
If we have multiple containers in the yard, the choice is yours. Due to high volume sales, this is not normally the case. Most times, we pick up at the Port and have no control over the color. However, we do offer painting services.
Yes, absolutely! You can choose the color from Sherwin Williams, and we prep and paint using commercial grade Direct-to-Metal paint.
Yes, all containers are guaranteed to be air and watertight.
No, the customer is responsible for all leveling. We recommend using a bottle jack and treated wood shims.
Unfortunately, we don’t complete your home. We will work with you on ideas and designs, but you’re better served having a local handyman or contractor.
Yes, you can get a “one-time use” container, however they are very expensive. If you want one like this let us know and we can estimate a price for you.
With proper design, yes you can connect and stack containers. Local contractors are recommended for this (as for stacking, cranes will be required).
Yes! This is a strong passion of ours at CFS. We can handle any custom build for the outside of the containers.
Customers may use 6×6 treated lumber or railroad ties for the desired location.
We strive very hard to place your container in your desired location. Sometimes this is quite a challenge. Please contact us with hard to fit or special circumstances for your container placement needs

General requirements: (may vary based on location, obstacles, terrain, and other onsite issues.

20’ container delivery requirements:

Width: minimum 9 ft wide straight pathway, general fence openings minimum 9’ unless close to road or in turning path which may require up to 20 ft opening

Length: drop off length required is typically 65-85 ft depending upon the situation, the longer the pathway the straighter the placement of the container

40’ container delivery requirements:

Width: minimum 9 ft wide straight pathway, general fence openings minimum 9’ unless close to road or in turning path which may require up to 25 ft opening

Length: drop off length required is typically 90-120 ft depending upon the situation, the longer the pathway the straighter the placement of container

Overhead Clearance: We encourage you to watch video in FAQ 12 “What to expect during delivery”. You will see how overhead clearance is important. Need to make sure there are no overhead power lines, trees, or other obstacles

​Orientation of factory double doors:Just like in video, our standard loading is with the double doors facing truck. If you need opposite placement let us know
Absolutely! We would love to meet you in person. Click the contact tab and we can set up an appointment at our Spartanburg build yard
Typically, yes. We have 4-wheel drive trucks and we try our best to place in your desired location. It is rare for our business to not be able to access your location. If there is a special circumstance, let’s chat prior to delivery.

Pricing Questions:

1. How much do containers cost?
Prices vary depending on whether containers are new or used, their overall size, and any customizations applied. Please call for updated prices.

We accept cash, check or credit card (3% charge)
The majority of our customers do not pay until we deliver. We may require a nominal deposit for large customization orders
No, all pricing is “Out the Door” pricing. You will never have to be concerned about any hidden fees.
We provide a 1-year warranty for leaks
