Plain Container FAQs

 1. How old are the plain containers?

- A used or "Wind and Watertight" container has typically been used to transport cargo anywhere from 8 to 15 years before being sold.

 2. What do the containers look like?

- Our containers will be noticeably different than "one trip" containers (new containers cost about two times more than used). The paint will be faded, and there will be some rust or staining on the exterior and interior. Dents and dings will be more prominent. Refer to the photos below to see some of our plain containers

 3. Is there a guarantee?

- All containers are inspected prior to distribution. We guarantee our containers will maintain their structural integrity and are both wind and watertight. We ensure the floors are intact, the interior is clean, and the cargo doors are operable.

 4. Can a plain container be painted?

- Yes! You can choose any color from Sherwin Williams. We prep and paint with commercial-grade direct-to-metal paint.
Painting costs start at $600 for a 20ft container and $800 for a 40ft.
- There will be an upcharge for colors in the red, white, or yellow range as these colors take double the product and more coats to achieve the same quality finish.
